Due to COVID crisis and huge technology’s impact as well as generational gap, growing cultural and gender diversity the modern workplace has been changing completely and so much rapidly that we need everyone to be involved in making sense of all the changes. That’s why nowadays, the ability to quickly adapt and apply new information is becoming more and more important. 50% of all employees will need reskilling by 2025, as adoption of technology increases, according to the recent World Economic Forum’s Future of Jobs Report. It is not enough to set clear goals for transformation – in order to achieve the result, it is necessary to constantly react to changes, adapt and learn. Being good at reflecting and team facilitating is becoming more and more important in order to create the environment that boosts continuous learning and sense making. Ability to facilitate teams has proved to be an essential competence for executives as well as specialists.

This means that it is no longer enough to assess only the employee’s expert competencies. Effective team leaders need to know how to inspire and engage people in processes, and at the same time, be able to cope with their internal and group processes. Basically, their task is to create favourable conditions for people to have motivation and opportunities to commit themselves fully into doing their work and to engage in discussions which result in understanding the purpose and meaning of the tasks to be done.

How to ensure effective team cooperation and work performance?

Each team member and leader must strive to discover their own authenticity and be able to build authentic relationships with other team members. This training course is designed to help the target participants to explore their personal contribution to teams by becoming more self-aware and accountable in the role of a leader (as well as a follower).

The aim of the training course

The course aims at different-level managers and team members who want to improve their leadership skills and are committed to searching for new methods that would encourage teams to put ideas into action and thereby shape changes.

Continuous communication and sharing are key to building trust in workplace communities. A transparent new work culture makes structures transparent and reporting less complex and communication more important. It means that we need to replace traditional management approaches with coordination and sustainable relationships with employees. Each team member and leader should aim at discovering his/ her authentic self and should be able to build authentic relationships with other team members.

This training course aims to:

develop the competencies of discovering one‘s authenticity;
develop the competence of building sustainable relationships in a team;
develop the ability to take up and connect various roles by applying systems psychodynamic approach.

The training course consists of 3 modules, each module consists of 2-4 sessions which results in 9 sessions. I session lats for 4 academic hours.

The training programme consists of studying theory and doing practical tasks, having discussions, doing individual tasks, reflecting, coaching and doing homework. Participants will receive training material as well as slides. The practical part of the training sessions makes up the biggest part: 2 sessions – 100% practical tasks, 7 sessions – 30% theory, and 70% – practice. In addition, after each session, we offer reflection meetings to discuss the group processes. The group consists of 12 participants maximum. The training can take place in a hybrid way – in some sessions, one of the Trainers can participate remotely, depending on the general situation due to the pandemic.

Discovering one’s authenticity


Mastering internal self-awareness: understanding one’s worldview, perception filters, biases, feelings, fears, dominating defense mechanisms, values, self-motivation sources, valences – one’s inner narrative and the overall impact it has on our reactions.

Communicative methods: Introducing theory and discussions; pair work; cinelogy; games; creative tasks. Drawing/ sketching individual role biographies.

Reflective methods and tasks: autobiography, writing life stories and obituary; practical assignments with quotes and lyrics; self-expression creative tasks.

Building authentic relationships


Mastering external self-awareness and the skill of building authentic relationships: willingness to invest into high-quality relationships, understanding one‘s blind spots and the impact one has on others, ability to build unconditional trust, ability to communicate directly and openly, transparency, ability to discover and communicate meaning, focus on developing the skills of team members.

Communicative methods: Introducing theory and discussions; pair work; group work; cinelogy; games; creative tasks.

Systems-psychodynamics and team coaching


Mastering team coaching: understanding group dynamics and socio-emotional dynamics of team, ability to take up a team leader‘s role by applying containment practices and tools, ability to work with anxieties in teams by applying CIBART model, ability to apply organizational role analysis (ORA).

Communicative methods: Introducing theory and discussions; group work. Systems-psychodynamics, group relations method, CIBART model, ORA method.

Trainers/ Consultants

This training course program is taught by experienced and competent trainers – experts who share both theoretical knowledge and professional experience. An expert from Germany participates in a number of sessions and leads the training group’s reflection sessions.

Nastasija Šurpikienė

Consults Executives working in various business areas on all the issues related to “soft” Human Resources management competencies. Nastasija is interested in Group Relations method and on a regular basis takes part in international Group Relations Conferences as well as Group Consultancy workshops. Since 2020 she’s been deepening her knowledge in the theory and practice of systems-psychodynamics. Together with the colleague, Dr. Markus G. Feil, a psychodynamic Psychotherapist and systemic-psychodynamic business Coach, does practical workshops on Organisational Role Analysis.

Areas of Expertise: employee learning and development systems, employee personality types, onboarding processes, employee engagement, training and retention, sources of self-motivation, developing EQ, building authentic leader-follower relationships.

Conducting trainings experience: 10+ years, 20+ topics, conducted trainings to more than 50 groups, more than 500 participants.

Dr. Markus G. Feil

Dr. Markus G. Feil

A Psychologist, Psychoanalyst, member of German Psychoanalytic Society; psychodynamic Psychotherapist, systemic-psychodynamic business Coach, Director of a Forensic Outpatient Clinic. Has a strong interest in groups, systems, organizations, and institutions. Markus has held various Management positions for more than 20 years, and has been leading a fast-growing clinic for over 12 years. Actively participates in international Group Relations Conferences both as a member and as a Consultant. Based in Munich, Germany.

Areas of Expertise: group relations method, human behaviour, group dynamics and team socio-emotional dynamics.

Experience: has been consulting groups, teams and organizations in the business and public sectors for over 10 years.

Membership: German Society of Psychoanalysts; Lithuanian Group Relations Society.

Qualification: PhD in Human Biology.

  • Full course price per person – 1800€ + VAT (in case of 10 people are assembled);
  • Separate modules of the training program are available;
  • The final price depends on the size of the group;
  • Payments can be split.

Time and intensity of the course

  • Duration – 4,5 days (Module I – 1,5 days, Module II – 1 day, Module III – 2 days);
  • Sessions dates are coordinated individually;
  • Homework requires up to 2 hours of your time.


  • Sessions can be live or remote (using the Zoom platform). If you choose live learning – some sessions will be mixed with one of the consultants remotely.
  • Training can take place at a location you choose.
